Episode 1206: Uncut & Unsigned April 7 The Petrov Affair

Tue, 07 Apr 2026

Part 1: Join Tony and Shippa as they close their curtains, scan for bugs and watch over their shoulders for any clandestine activity…yes, spies abound these days, but it’s nothing like it was back in the 60s. Cold War, a missing Prime Minister, The Petrov Affair…wait a minute, that’s a band from Sydney, isn’t it? Indeed yes it is, and we have Murray Lee from The Petrov Affair to give us all the nefarious activities that the band has been participating in, and share some excellent music…in an under the table exchange of course!

Part 2: Tony and Shippa get stuck into some new submissions from up and coming artists in the second half of the show. Catch tracks from Mum Friends (Adelaide), Fur Blossom (Melbourne), Worry Weather (Melbourne), Sven Tyderman (Gold Coast), Obscura Hail (Melbourne), Showbag! (Perth), The Hush (Sydney), Rosscoe Frantz (Perth), Kissing The Flint (Capricornia, Old), Uni Boys (California) and Late 90s (Perth), with Shippa’s Surprise being a return visit from a flower with a solar malady!
