Bussin' With The Boys

In this episode of For The Dads with Former NFL Linebacker Will Compton, Sherm hosts in a full quarantine suit after Scar Scar comes down with hand, foot and mouth, Willy C relives growing up next to a lead mining chat dump in Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Charo crushes homemade Where the Wild Things Are costumes for the whole family, all while keeping the episode fun, fresh and of course, (barely) over an hour.

The episode kicks off with the boys swearing they'll finally keep it under an hour (the haters are dancing on our grave) before getting into topics like:

- Sherm's first solo sick day doctor visit (nailed the birthday, sort of nailed the doctor's name)

- Scottzilla's rookie trick or treat, no rookie year needed

- Will wants the Candy Fairy to bring HIM the candy (plus the official chocolate power rankings)

Other highlights include:

•  Crack a Cold One: Scottie plays Simon Says and Scar Scar's official grandparent names
•  PT6 Voicemails: a size 4 diaper on a size 1 baby and a Halloween party puke rescue

👉 If you're looking for dad podcast humor, parenting real talk, and a strong community vibe, this episode of For The Dads is a must-listen.

For The Dads is for every guy who needs a place to talk, vent, and laugh about all the insane, hilarious, and chaotic sh** (sometimes literal) that comes with being a dad.

Hosted by Will Compton–NFL Vet, creator of Bussin' With the Boys, and proud dad of two. This show isn’t about expert advice and how fatherhood is the greatest thing on earth—it’s about embracing the love and suck of parenthood every day. From balancing work and family to battling the mental load, fears, and the moments that wreck you in the best way, we dive into it all with honesty, vulnerability, and a sense of humor. Cause at the end of the day... us dads have no idea what we're doing.

Alongside Will is his producer Sherman Young, a recently new father who’s currently deep in the trenches of Fatherhood and loving every minute of it. Together, they’ll break down everything that can go right and wrong (...usually wrong) when you bring tiny humans into this world.

Expect funny parenting stories, laughs, call-ins, advice, weekly themes, and the kind of conversations you’d have over a cold beer in the garage. Whether you’re raising teens or still Googling “how to install a car seat”, For the Dads is the ultimate podcast for dads who are in it, about to be in it, or just trying to do their best while screwing it up along the way.

NFL week 8 may be the most WILD week of the NFL so far. The Denver Broncos took down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling game. Lamar Jackson gets hurt AGAIN as the Baltimore Ravens are dismantled by the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen is an alien and becomes the Buffalo Bills all time leader in touchdown passes. The Detroit Lions take down the previously undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Is Kyler Murray's time up in Minnesota? Do the Vikings need to trade for Kirk Cousins? Is Jahmyr Gibbs the NFL MVP? The Pittsburgh Steelers have found their identity and that is running the ball as they ran all over the Cleveland Browns and now the Steelers are the leaders of the AFC North.

The Jacksonville Jaguars deserve more respect as the destroyed the Colts. Trevor Lawrence is also playing at an MVP level. The Dallas Cowboys lost yet another game they should have won. Who is to blame when it comes to their late game woes.

We’re breaking down who’s TRENDING UP, who’s TRENDING DOWN, and handing out our weekly GOOD BALL and BAD BALL awards. Tune in to hear what Chase Daniel has to say about this crazy NFL Week 8.
